I ended off on a tangent with this project much like a flittering butterfly’s flight. A bundle of calico fabric cut for a quilt commonly referred to as “Parasol Girl” inspired these butterfly jean jackets.

Donut you want a donut?
This project ticked several of my favorite boxes. Plays on words, fabric painting, embroidery, and donuts are all high on my fun list. Add them all together, and you get an adorable dress for an adorable kid. I made this whimsical chambray dress for the newest member of our family.
